Q: I have more than one dog, do I need more than one Piddle Place at home?
A: One Piddle Place should be sufficient, but owner should be aware if the dogs are comfortable to share a toilet, or any habit of rushing to the toilet together. Sharing a Piddle Place among a few dogs will require to spray bio+ maintenance more often, and to drain the Piddle Place more often than the suggested once a week to keep it clean and odor free, depending on the number of dogs.
Q: My dog was previously trained to use puppy pads, can it change to Piddle Place now?
A: Definitely! Dogs of all age can easily be trained to use Piddle Place. Even very young puppies and old dogs with old potty habits. Please see our Tutorial page for tips on how to change from puppy pads to Piddle Place.
Q: Is it hygiene to store urine in the chamber for a week? Should I take Piddle Place to wash every week?
A: It is unnecessary to wash Piddle Place with water on a weekly basis, unless there are soft feces trapped inside the turf, and you wish to hose down the turf. As Bio+ Treatment could effectively degrade urine and feces organics, it is a more hygiene way to clean the system with Bio+ Treatment than water. For your peace of mind, we suggest to use a watering jug to sprinkle Bio+ Treatment over the turf every week, which allows the cleaning enzyme to wash the turf thoroughly before it reaches the bottom of the chamber, before it starts degrading urine for the up coming week.

Q: Occasionally, I still want to take my dog outdoor for his business, would indoor potty training confuses it?

Q: My dog loves Piddle Place, and always sleeps on it rather than to use it as a toilet!
A: We know Piddle Place's porous turf is soft and it is super comfy for animals' paws, this is often the scenario when it is first introduced to pets! It requires your persistent to show your pet what Piddle Place is really for. When your pet has successfully gone on it once, their own scent will encourage themselves to go back as a regular toilet spot. Q: I have a big dog, will it fit using a Piddle Place?
A: Piddle Place measures 19"x30", and is 1.5" in height. It can hold over 100lbs. So if your dog is over 28" long, it's hind end might hang over Piddle Place and make a mess.
Q: Is there a smaller size Piddle Place to choose from as my dog is tiny?
A: At the moment Piddle Place only comes in one size, and from our experience even the smallest dog enjoys potty in this size, as it leaves room for it to have a swirl and sniff around before it does it's business.
Q: How tough is the plastic of Piddle Place, is it possible that my dog could chew and destroy it?
A: Piddle Place is manufactured in the toughest plastic we could source, even if it's ran over by a car it shall not break. Every Piddle Place comes with quality guarantee, if it breaks or leaks we will replace you with a new one.
Q: Is it okay to use other cleaning product instead of bio+ treatment in the chamber and maintenance?
A: Please DO NOT use other cleaning product in place of the Piddle Place. Constantly allowing your pet to be in close contact with unknown ingredient cleaning products might make your little pooch ill. Bio+ treatment is specially formulated for this toilet system, it can effectively degrade urine and feces to keep Piddle Place clean and fresh, together with its attractant to indicate Piddle Place is the toilet area to your pet, other cleaning products will not serve this function. (Also, general cleaning products for pets are designed to tell your pet “don’t come back here and pee” If you use these products, your pet will probably not return to the Piddle Place, but that was what they were designed for, and they serve their purpose.)
Q: What exactly is the Bio+ Treatment Concentrate and Maintenance Spray? Is it safe for my pet and children?
A: Bio+ Treatment Concentrate and Maintenance Spray are specially formulated natural enzymes. It is absolutely environmental friendly, and is it safe for both pets and children.
Q: What is the difference between Bio+ Treatment Concentrate and Bio+ Maintenance Spray?
A: Bio+ Maintenance Spray is the diluted version of Bio+ Treatment Concentrate plus attractant which indicates dog that area is toilet area. Each bottle of Bio+ Maintenance Spray equals two pack of Bio+ Treatment Concentrate mixed with 460ml clean water.
Q: How long will one pack of Bio+ Treatment Concentrate last? How much does it cost for maintenance?
A: We recommend to drain the system once a week based on the usage of a one medium small size dog. After drain, fill the chamber up with a new pack of Bio+ Treatment Concentrate (mix with 230ml of water). It cost $31.7 per one pack of Bio+ Treatment Concentrate. If one piddle place is used by a number of dogs, the frequency of draining the system should adjust accordingly.
A: Bio+ Treatment Concentrate and Bio+ Maintenance Spray can effectively degrade urine and feces on the turf, but if you wish, the turf can be washed under warm water as well. To keep the turf at the most ideal condition, we recommend to have it replaced every 6 months.
